Dec '17 Update: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Family News and Updates

IMG_2543Tim and Tina: The end of December marks our 28th wedding anniversary. How time has flown and how life has changed! As best friends, we continue to serve the Lord together with the people He sets before us. We are continually filled with joy as we now participate in being grandparents, and helping to influence our children’s children. We also count it a privilege to spend time with young couples from our church, coming alongside them in their marriages and parenting.Tim: continues to be involved in training pastors overseas through TMAI centers, as well as the laymen at Calvary Bible Church through the Leadership, Training, and Discipleship (LTD) programs. This has been a joy and privilege for him. As he finishes his dissertation for the Doctoral of Ministries degree at The Master’s Seminary, he hopes to be single-minded in his training efforts after graduation in May of 2018. Whew! Three years of school has been a big commitment.
Carissa (20): is in her 3rd year at UCLA and continues to work on campus at Anderson Business School. She is involved in Grace On Campus (GOC) Bible Study, an outreach of Grace Community Church, where she leads a small group. This past August, she greatly enjoyed her missions trip to Malawi, Africa with GOC, and hopes to go again next year. She also loves being an auntie to her two nephews, whom she sees as much as possible when she comes home on weekends!IMG_2438Brie (16): is a Junior at Burbank High School and persevered through the first semester of some AP classes. She has enjoyed her role in the school plays as well as singing in the Youth Worship Team. I affectionately call her the “baby whisperer” because she can get them fall asleep in her arms.We continue to be so thankful for our family’s support in Pastor’s Training Ministry whether it be Hannah (and by extension Michael) helping with the website and updates, or the Lees holding down the fort and helping Brie get to school while Tina is out of the country, or Daniel and Lighthouse inviting Tim to speak about Missions, or Carissa actually sharing a trip with her Dad, or Brie never complaining when both Mom and Dad are out of the country (even on her first day of school). We would like to thank all of you for your prayers and support this year. We are so thankful for your partnering with us and look forward to what the Lord has for the coming year. To God be the glory in the Church.
